A rare opportunity in Sarasota – baroque music on instruments made during the time of J.S. Bach. Gut strings, musical delicacy and nuance, and buttery tonalities will all be a part of this special chamber music concert. Featuring multiple harpsichords and a baroque chamber ensemble on period instruments. The concert concludes with Bach’s most musically complex motet for SSATB and continuo, Jesu, meine Freude, BWV 227, performed using one voice per part.
