Maximiliano Iglesias

Maximiliano Iglesias began his training at the Julio Bocca Foundation. In 2010, he joined the Ballet of the Colon Theatre, where he was promoted to soloist in 2017 and to principal dancer in 2018. His repertoire included principal roles in The Nutcracker, La Bayadère, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Le Corsaire, and Don Quixote. He has participated in major international festivals, including the Havana Festival and the Latin-American International Festival in China.

He was a Principal dancer with The Sarasota Ballet for 3 seasons from 2022. His repertoire included principal roles in Theme and Variations, Romeo and Juliet, La Sylphide, and In the Upper Room. In 2024 he created Finales Sinfónicos for The Sarasota Ballet’s Summer Intensive. He has also created various works, including Vendaval for the Ballet of the Colon Theatre and several pas de deux for international galas.
