One Light, Many Voices
A festival of the human spirit and sacred song led by Jamal Sarikoki featuring more than 150 voices. Key Chorale, the choirs of First United Methodist Church and Church of the Redeemer, brass quintet, timpani, and organ perform jubilant settings of the Psalms, Old Testament and inspirational poetry by Ralph Vaughan Williams, John Rutter, Morten Lauridsen, and more.

What’s Interesting About this Concert?
- If you’ve been waiting to sing with Key Chorale, this is your concert! The audience is invited to join the festival choir, brass, and percussion on Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, The Old Hundreth Psalm Tune, and We Shall Overcome.
- Guest conductor Jamal Sarikoki has selected powerful texts from Walt Whitman, Sara Teasdale, the Psalms, Maya Angelou, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that highlight themes of wonder, the beauty of our world, servanthood, freedom and faith.
- This program combines ultra classics like Haydn’s The Heavens Are Telling and Vaughan Williams’ O Clap Your Hands alongside new works like Simon Johnson’s rhythmic Jubilate Deo and Morten Lauridsen’s shimmering Sure on this Shining Night.
