“Bach” Together Again, Bach & Vivaldi
Jan 29, 2021 – Feb 28, 2021

It seems fitting that the greatest composer of all-time, Johann Sebastian Bach would be selected to bring us back together. The Key Chorale Chamber Singers combine with orchestra for two of the most festive Baroque works: Bach’s Magnificat and Vivaldi’s Gloria. Trumpet, timpani and jubilant choral writing is ever present in Bach’s Magnificat, his first large-scale work composed for the churches in Leipzig. Vivaldi’s spiritual magnificence and Italian mastery make his Gloria his greatest choral masterpiece.
Online streaming concert will be available from the premiere until February 28. Just extended for one more week!
