Key Chorale Inc. is seeking a driven individual to join its professional team as Director of Patron Services. This position is responsible for all aspects of the box office and other assigned duties related to audience customer service.


  • Manage ticketing: set-up events, promotions, process and fulfill sales, report and analyze sales data through our Theatre Manager ticketing software
  • Fulfill online merchandising orders and manage merchandise inventory
  • Manage ticket and merchandise sales, will call, safety protocols and seating layout at events
  • Prepare and account for cash boxes for door ticket sales and merchandise
  • Reconcile performance ticket and merchandise sales and generate pre- and post-event reports
  • Manage seating maps for various venues
  • Work with House Manager to secure and train ushers for concerts
  • Foster deep relationships with donors, subscribers, and volunteers
  • Implement ticket policies and procedures
  • Load in/load out box office and front of house set up at events
  • Transport and set up marketing materials and signage at events
  • Develop relationship with the various assisted living facilities for group sales and “Key Chorale at Home – Digital Series” concerts
  • Assist Marketing Manager as needed
  • Assist Administrative Coordinator as needed
  • Other duties as may be assigned


  • Excellent database management skills including accuracy in data entry and ability to generate reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with GSuite, and Zoom preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent patron relations and customer service skills
  • Financial accuracy and comprehensive reporting skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate as a team member
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner, including identifying and remedying issues which may arise
  • Excellent computer literacy and proficiency
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software
  • Knowledge of Theatre Manager ticket/donor software is a plus


  • High school, some college preferred
  • Prior experience in a closely related position is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Knowledge and appreciation of the performing arts is preferred


  • July through April
  • 30 hours per week
  • Flexibility during concert/event weeks when ticket sales increase and front of house management is needed at events
  • Evening and weekend hours will be required during production periods (typically 8-10 per season) as well as occasionally throughout the year for special events, with flex time offered in non-production weeks
