[Sarasota, FL] – Key Chorale, Sarasota’s Symphonic Chorus, announces its board of directors for the upcoming season, including Board President A. Leslie (Lee) Holden. Mr. Holden worked with General Motors as a Regional Training Facility Manager and Account Executive from 1979-1986 and was the Vice President and Manager of Training and Visual Communications for the JM Family Enterprises JM&A Group from 1986-2001. He also served as Principal of the ARC Group and currently works as the Senior Vice President of Cultural Research at EDGE. He has served on the boards of the Wheelock Memorial Hospital (Chairman), St. Joseph Health Systems, Goodwill Industries in Flint, MI and Port Huron, MI (President), Port Huron Jaycees (President), Artists Series Concerts of Sarasota Friends (first Vice President), Prescription-Air Corporation, and various churches. In addition to his business and board experience, Mr. Holden is a father and grandfather of two, a certified United Methodist Lay Servant, a Sunday school and adult class teacher, a leader of men’s ministry in the Episcopal Church, and sings bass in his church choir.
Also joining the Board of Directors this season is Claire Collins, DMD. Dr. Collins ran her private practice of general dentistry from 1984-1990 in Venice, FL before moving to the Oral Medicine Clinic of Faculty Practice at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she was also a clinical associate professor. She then worked with the Faculty Practice at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine while serving as an Associate Professor at the university. Most recently, she was a charter faculty member of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, and currently works as a part-time facilitator of PBL curriculum. In addition, Dr. Collins has sung with numerous choirs, including the Key Chorale, and served on the board of the Venice Symphony (Vice President).

This season the Key Chorale celebrates its 10th anniversary season with Maestro Joseph Caulkins, and will host a number of concert programs and special events commemorating the occasion. Also returning as Associate Conductor is Stephen Fancher, an accomplished collaborative pianist and solo recitalist who has led choral music programs at St. Mary the Virgin Episcopal Church in Chappaqua, NY and Julia A. Stark Elementary School, where he was awarded Stanford, CT Teacher of the Year in 2012. After spending the past four years working as a financial advisor for Mariash Lowther Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch in Sarasota, Mr. Fancher recently joined the Development staff of the Sarasota Opera.
